Terms of Use

Effective October 3, 2026

In short: Cure Checker uses artificial intelligence to gather and summarize publicly available research on serious conditions/diseases. Reports on incurable diseases are updated every morning, and reports on other conditions are updated once a week. It's a repository of information for people searching for hope and for a cure. It's not medical advice, and no doctors or medical professionals review or update its content.

1. About Cure Checker

Cure Checker is an independent, informational website. Its purpose is to collect the most recent publicly available information about specific conditions/diseases in one place: research findings, clinical trial results, regulatory decisions and treatment developments. We present it in plain language for patients, families, caregivers and anyone else following the search for a cure.

By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. How the content is produced

Cure Checker's content is created with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). Automated AI tools gather information from publicly available sources, summarize it, and update the condition/disease reports. Reports on incurable diseases are updated every morning, and reports on other conditions are updated once a week. These sources include clinical trial registries, peer-reviewed journals, regulatory agencies, company announcements, news outlets and patient organizations. Some sections are retrieved in real time from public databases each time a page is opened. These include ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, Europe PMC, the ISRCTN registry and Drugs@FDA (via openFDA). Data from the EU Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS) is refreshed as a daily snapshot. Each report also links to the WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP), the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, the European Medicines Agency, OpenMD and, for cancers, the National Cancer Institute.

Counts and listings from these sources reflect how each database indexes and searches its records. They may include studies only loosely related to a condition/disease, miss some that are relevant, or differ between registries for the same trial.

AI can make mistakes. It may misread a source, leave out important context, oversimplify complex findings, or present information that has since changed. Source links are provided so you can read the original material and judge it for yourself.

3. Not medical advice

Nothing on Cure Checker is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing on this site should be relied on as such. The information is general and educational. It doesn't account for any individual's medical history, condition, or circumstances.

4. No medical professionals review this content

Cure Checker is not operated, reviewed or endorsed by doctors, nurses, pharmacists or other medical professionals. No clinician checks the updates before they're published. Assessments described as "Cure Checker's conclusion" are automated, editorial summaries of published evidence, not clinical judgments.

5. A repository, not a recommendation

Cure Checker exists to help people who are searching, often urgently, for information and hope. Mentioning a drug, therapy, clinical trial, supplement, clinic or country doesn't mean we recommend, endorse, or vouch for its safety or effectiveness. Early-stage research often fails to hold up in larger studies. Treatments approved in one country may not be approved, available or appropriate in another.

6. Accuracy and timeliness

We aim to keep the information current and accurate, but we make no warranties or guarantees of any kind about its completeness, accuracy, reliability or timeliness. Information may be out of date, incomplete or incorrect at any given time. The content is provided "as is" and "as available."

7. Clinical trials

Trial information is summarized from public registries and announcements. Eligibility, locations, and enrollment status change frequently. Confirm all details directly with the trial sponsor or study site, and discuss participation with your doctor.

8. Third-party links

Cure Checker links to websites and documents operated by others. We don't control and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices or availability. A link isn't an endorsement.

9. Medical emergencies

If you think you or someone else may be having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number, such as 911 in the United States, or go to the nearest emergency room right away. Don't rely on this website in an emergency.

10. Donations and advertising

Cure Checker accepts voluntary donations through Venmo, Cash App and PayPal to help cover the costs of running the website. Donations are not tax-deductible. They don't buy any goods, services, medical advice or influence over content, and they're generally non-refundable. Payments are processed by those third-party services under their own terms.

Cure Checker may also display paid advertisements. Advertisements are separate from our reports, do not influence what we publish, and are not recommendations or endorsements by Cure Checker. Advertisers are responsible for their own products, services and claims, and we do not verify them. An advertisement is never medical advice. Talk with your doctor before acting on anything an advertiser says.

11. Privacy and visit counts

Cure Checker counts page visits with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It uses no cookies, doesn't track you across websites, and doesn't collect personal information. Visit totals are used to show the most popular reports on the home page. We don't sell or share any data. Links to outside sites, including support groups and donation services, are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

If we display advertisements, the companies that provide or place them may use cookies or similar technologies and collect certain information under their own privacy policies. Cure Checker's own visit counting does not use cookies. If you send us a message through the contact form, it is handled by a third-party form service, and we use it only to review your note and reply. Please do not include medical or other sensitive personal information.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cure Checker and anyone involved in creating or operating it aren't liable for any loss, injury, or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. You use the information at your own risk.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect when they're posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the site means you accept the revised terms.
